Hello to all,
I have been extremely busy as well as undergoing some tests as a follow up from last year’s colon surgery. I am happy to say my colon looks great and is working like it should be! My esophagus looks great and I told my sweet supportive husband back in December when the Dr ordered an EGD, there would not be anything going on with my esophagus and that is based on several prior EGD’s where nothing showed. I was correct! It took until May to finally get the EGD after the March EGD couldn’t be completed because their EPIC systems were down for a couple of days meaning they could not access my records electronically in addition to the fact that the anesthesia they primarily use at this facility has caused me problems in the past and the anesthetist thought I should have the procedure at an in-hospital setting. I refuse to let them use that anesthesia ever again ~ anytime or anywhere and it is noted in my allergy records. I am still experiencing some stomach problems, but the new RX prescribed has helped, and I continue to work on improving my diet and learning which foods I can tolerate and which foods I need to leave alone. I am a continuing work in progress health wise and ask for your prayers. I am feeling better, praise GOD! Having pernicious anemia, diagnosed back in the 1990’s, requires a B12 shot every 2 weeks although I feel as though I need them every week and at one point in time, I did get them weekly and sometimes daily. The intrinsic factor contributes to the tummy issues and the pernicious anemia also causes shortness of breath. The indigestion I had been having has really subsided as has the shortness of breath. I had a cardiac PET and Ultrasound V and came through those tests with flying colors. After colon surgery, I lost a LOT of weight so now if I could just loose some of this weight I put back on after surgery and following the nutritionists diet, that would be great! I am working on it.
I cut back on my monthly class schedules for a couple of reasons and am now only doing a DPSL class the last week of the month and my usual Third Thursday Of The Month Card Class that I have always held which will continue to be my main card class. I will occasionally add other classes during the month and post them on my Debby Cr8s FB group and FB page as well as my personal FB. I always utilize my DBWS Stampin’ Up!® Calendar with all of my events and this can be found at debbyjones.stampinup.net
